Caramel or Candied?

Caramel or Candied?
Apples, that is...
This time of year a lot of us
splurge on these.
If you could only choose one
to eat for the rest of your life
which would it be?
Do you like the gooey stick-to-your-teeth
caramel?
Does the rich smell of caramel comfort you?
Maybe you prefer the crunch of
the candied?
You like red-hots and cinnamon.
They beautiful as well as tasty.
Well, which one?
Both are easy to make from
scratch (I'm not as fond of caramel
wraps or pre-melted cinnamon concoctions).
How about using cinnamon sticks instead
of popsicle sticks?
How about tree limbs (make sure
they're food safe please!)?

I love both ... the part I don't like is when all the coating is gone and I'm stuck with the "blah" apple at the centre!!! lol!! Now of course I'm salivating for one of these!!!

Caramel. But I'd rather have a chocolate dipped strawberry or chocolate frozen banana...or chocolate pretzel...why don't they do apples in chocolate?

Hmmm, I have never actually had a candied appled, but I just LOVE the caramel ones! I think that they are especially fun to make, and are a autumn favorite of mine! I visited a sweet shop where their specialty was caramel/candied apples...they had all sorts of fun additions...marshmallows, choc. chips, m&m's and pretty much any other small candy that you can think of...and they were delicious! Thanks for waking up my sweet tooth with this post!
