It's in Black and White
The saying, "It's in black and white," means there's definitive or conclusive proof. Today we'll focus on black and white decor. Do you like black and white decor or fashion? Or you a *gotta-have-color* gal? Kitchen; Pillow; Living Room; Bedroom; Kitten; Purse and Scotties!

I have to have colour - even if it's just a shot of red in a black and white toile room. I love a bit of black, though, in any room.

Okay, you got me with the black and white animals! But for decor it's got to be colorful! White and black, or white and any other one color is just too stark for me for a whole room.
I know they also say you need some black in every room to ground it but I think other dark colors work just as well. I have a lot of dark browns and greens for that job. Except for electronics(bleah!) I really don't have much black at all.
That's me! A 'gotta have color' gal! That's why I love that first pic so much! The window is crazy beautiful! But the splash of color of the orange flowers on the table just make the scene perfect!

It is a grand way to spend the day searching for them. You have a beautiful blog with lots of eye candy. I personally love black and white and have lots of it in my home. My art is also done in pen and ink. I find black and white sootheing.

I AM A FAN of the black & white combinations :) So MODERN. Even with the Traditional & European accents. You had my attention on the first picture.
All I can say is "More!"
I LOVE black and white! But I also have kids, which pretty much eliminates the possibility of very much white in my house. We LIVE in this house and I wouldn't want it any other way, but it would be nice to someday have a room just for 'pretty', too.
The look of black and white is so crisp and clean but I must say I prefer more color.
I do have quite a bit of white in my house, but not really any black. (except for one of my cats.) I need a bit of color here.

I love black and white. I wear it and I have my powder room and laundry room decorated in just Black and White. So cute kitten and loved the purse.

Your lovely blog always offers such wonderful inspiration. Although I prefer a primitive decor, I do love the color black. You will find it in my clothing, shoes, appliances, and vehicle. A girl just can't own too much black!

Hello Janean, I like black and white...especially toile and stripes but I also like a pop of color with it. I've always wanted to do a black and white bedroom but never was brave enough! I love the ttoile lovely.The pocketbook is cute too.And oh Im thinking that might be a westie like mine but actually hes looking like the black one and their is no black westie.But hes clipped like mine anyway.
If it is black and white I am so there!! Love black and white, if you looked around at my blog you will see I have a couple of post on the subject. My entry hall is black and white marble and my guest bath floor is black and white marble and granite tiles. Love it!!
