It's the Raspberries!

I enjoy raspberry flavor and the color. I'm going to do a simple post feature The Raspberry... Is anyone else a fan?  Photos: Raspberry custom chair; Raspberry Tea Punch - recipe at the end; Raspberry boot; Raspberry Cheesecake; Raspberry painted house; Raspberry pillow, Raspberry Bike; Old Goat blowing a Raspberry; Old goats who were The Raspberries (just kidding on the "old goats" part. I used to be a huge fan!).

Raspberry Tea Punch
  • 2 nectarines, pitted and sliced; 1 pint of fresh raspberries in season; 1 sliced lemon; 3 cups of freshly brewed tea (I like Green Tea); Sweeten to taste; 1 bottle of sparkling white grape juice.
  • Fill a large pitcher with fruit. Add tea and let set for about 20 minutes. Add sparkling white grape juice. Pour and garnish as desired.

I love raspberries! I like to buy frozen ones, take them out of the freezer, toss them in just a bit of sugar and eat them like mini popsicles - so delish!

And the color is lovely, and goes so well with periwinkle! :o) B.

Love the color of raspberry! The house pic is quite bright! Wow, that would show up in the snow! (We have snow today, ground is covered). Wish I could wear the boots, I would so buy them!
My favorite raspberry: raspberry cheesecake! Thanks for the recipe.

love it. Thanks for a raspberry cheerful start to the weekend.
I do love the color.I think Raspberry is another one of those colors that takes on different shades in people's minds depending on who you are talking to.
Loved your photos as always.
Again...I love the raspberry filled Krispy Kreme donut (just as much as the lemon)! :-)

Wouldn't it be great to come home to a raspberry house everyday?! I agree with Marcy - you find the BEST pictures. How do you do that?

Oh my that house. I love that someone loved it so much to be so bold. Not sure if I could live across the street from that color but it is pretty! Hope your weather is good, we have snow again. We had 3 wonderful days this week but being in the Midwest you can't say goodbye to snow until April!

Beautiful photo's Janean...I really needed to see color this morning as everything here is covered with snow. We had a snow storm here during the night and early morning...what a way to start the first day of spring! Thanks for visiting my blog this morning and leaving a message...I hope you'll come back and see what our morning on the farm looked like. You asked why we got donkeys...they are cute! Our little Phoebe is 36" inches tall at the withers and Eeyore is about 38" tall. When the temperatures rise again here I'm going to make your raspberry tea punch...can't wait! Have a wonderful day...Maura

One of my favorite colours - there's a hint of raspberry in every room of the house - some hints more obvious than other,
Speaking of hints - I took yours to heart and went away on my little break without taking a single photo - very relaxing indeed!

Okay, I start reading the post and think to myself how much I love that chair. I wish I was so bold in my decorating. Then I see the pitcher of Raspberry Tea Punch and I want to give you the raspberries for not sharing the recipe. Of course I see it at the bottom of the post so let me say I'm sorry for giving you the goat face! Being a HUGE fan of raspberries and cheesecake ~ bring it on!
