We used to play Hide-and-Seek with our grandchildren. For a hint, the person hiding would say in a very high voice, *tweet-tweet.* Our grands would listen and then take off in the direction they thought the noise came from. Our granddaughter would cup her little hand up to her mouth and holler, "Say tweet-tweet, Papaw!" He'd *tweet* and off she'd go again. We were tweeting before Twitter was ever invented! lol. Speaking of tweet, I adore Robin's Egg Blue. Here are some beautiful examples of the cooler and then warmer shades of this beautiful color. Are you a Robin's Egg Blue person? only word to describe this lot, BEAUTIFUL!
Oh My Gosh!!! I am in love with that kitchen!!! When I ever get to re-d0 my kitchen, I want black and white square tile floor, robins egg blue walls and red, black and white accents. That sounds so pretty to me! Of course I want my studio like that, too, so maybe I'd better start with the smaller space and see how I like that before going into a full blown kitchen project! :o) Becky
Love blue, I am so happy to see it coming back into decor.
I am in love with the bird picture and pillow. Love them so much.

I love tweeters, LOL! Can't wait to put up a bird feeder again and watch their antics!
I love the birds and eggs and think they look so sweet in my decor ...especially for Spring! My kitchen is a slate blue...darker than this one but it really makes me feel good to work in it! ♥
Very Spring, very pretty!
Love that kitchen too. The pillow is over the top.

I love, love, love robin's egg blue and I love lemon curd. Where's the recipe for the cake???
Right now I'm looking at my pomegranate red kitchen and thinking 'paint?'.
Such lovely things! blessings, Kathleen
I am now obsessed with this color!!! I painted a bunch of eggs last night, recently a tray, and have some paper to decoupage in robin's egg blue! I love all the pictures you featured! Miki

The butterfly looks lovely on mine blog !! thanks..........
Hooray for an old fashioned form of "Twittering." :-)
The children will always remember those games with fond memories.
Yes, I am a robin' egg blue person. And a sunflower person too. The kitchen with the open rafters is lovely. And those long legged birds are so cute and very retro... I could swear that design was popular in the 70's. :-)
How pretty!! I just did my master at the lakehouse in a robin's egg blue and I love waking up to it every morning! It's truly serene!!
Love your 'Tweet' game. I will have to remember it when and IF I have grandkids (have to get those kids moving!!).
xoxo

Love that cake girl...I'm doing a baby shower here for my Granddaughter and we are doing the nesting theme too cute...Hope you have a GREAT weekend my friend...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
I have been a robin egg blue person ever since, as a child, I climbed my first apple tree and looked at these blue eggs in a nest! My last home, the master bed room was this color...love all shades of it so much! Come say hi :D
I love the soft color of a Robin's egg -- For a bedroom like a master room I love to see the color used there. It seem to soften the mood which seem to put you into a more restful stage. As for a kitchen not sure. So I guess I am part blue person but still want the color of a barn red here and there in my house but not red in a bed room.
I like these photo ~ fresh ideas like this fill me with excitement!
My husband's parent have a place in Florida ~ her guest bathroom has bird's nest that she has collected through the years ~ thank you so much for the smile this post has put on my face :)
I've had my little bird's nests for years and I think I got them at a little store in NC called Honeysuckle hollow. I love neat little stores like that one! Maybe you could do a search in ETSY! ♥
Love the birdie picture and pillow.
I do love nests with eggs. I do collect bird houses. I love that kitchen. Here I have been thinking that I want an all white kitchen but maybe I just want some painted cabinets, it's really pretty in blue.
okay, so just a couple of days ago one of you sweet readers emailed me two great online stores that had beautiful faux bird's nests. in one of my "noodle-headed" moments, i guess i deleted the email before i saved it. *waaahhhh*
if you read this post, please send me the information again. i went to michaels & walmart. no nests. i need one about the size of a bread plate! and, i can't find as good of stores online as you did. (((hugs & asking forgiveness...)))
It is a beutiful colour. Gorgeous kitchen.
Really love robin's egg blue!! Lovely pics!
Hugs, Lisa
