The Apartment in the 1990 movie, Green Card is still one of my favorite images! We recently went to a public garden where they had a small conservatory. I KNOW I could live in a 600 square foot conservatory and be happy (well, it has to have a bathroom and kitchenette, of course). Here are some images that make my heart beat fast. The first one is what I'm talkin' about, baby! Anyone else a big fan of conservatories? Photos from top: The perfect room! Thanks for popping by my blog..
I love your conservatory piccies, I would like to have a kitchen in one with a huge table.
Warm wishes Emma x
Beautiful photos! I loved conservatories. I'm going to be building one to attach to my dollhouse!
Stunning!! Fabulous, really!! I could live there too!!
Yes, a conservatory would fit my tastes perfectly too. I love light and rarely ever close my blinds. Never had light from the top, but would welcome it. Love that first picture as I have seen it before and drooled.
Saw green card a long time ago, but didn't remember the rooftop scene. Have to watch it again.
I love conservatories, would love to have one! Beautiful pics too! Cindy
Gorgeous space for one. I love all the windows and natural lighting.
I love the outside-in feel of a conservatory, filled with plants of course! The light is always so amazing and inspiring.
:)
I too could live in the first photo!
I light and airy environments...
They seem so much happier!
Hope a great day!
I love the movie Green Card
what a strange match...but it worked
it is such a romantic movie
Funny you should bring up conservatories..I was JUST asking my husband for one this weekend
I have always thought Green Card was a great example of what I like to come home to...beautiful apartment, outdoor garden AND classical music playing in the back ground! I think I'll turn some on right now! BYE! ♥
I especially like the third photo! I could SO curl up in that chair in the winter with a good book or my crocheting in hand! I can feel the warmth on my back from the sun's rays!
Oh yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
Have you been to The Jewel Box in St Louis? (Forest Park)
Gorgeous - I love them all! A few months back when I posted on my dream house, a conservatory was on the must haves list. You do share the most beautiful things, Janean!
Best,
Stephanie

Just wind me up and point me in the direction of #1! WOW! I could easily live in that square footage. Thanks for showing us.
I remember that movie..and I remember that part of the house too...what a wonderful thing that would be to have ...wow! Come say hi :D
Yes, yes, yes to a conservatory! Of course I'd have to get The Great Dane onside for this as he'd be the builder to my muse.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO how nice i like it !!
Eh .....we also live in a appartment...............hahahaahahah!!

Oh, be still my heart! That first room just makes my heart skip a beat and then do a happy dance! Thanks for sharing! B.
I know that movie, it's one of my favorites (Gérard Depardieu!) too.
Hug from a snowy Holland, Antonia
I LURVE that room!!!!
What a beautiful place! I would want to live there too! :-)
That first picture is great! I love the light colors and view! I'm right with you, there.
Oh, I looove that movie! And yes that first room? If I had that in my house I'd never leave the property and become some kind of weird hermit-lady. :-o
Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes...
I love conservatories. I'll be satisfied if I can just get a little add-on of a sunporch sunroom quasi-conservatory...ANYTHING!!!! Loved the post. It's so OHHHHHHHHHHHH! Wish I was there, or there, or there. And if I ever had one...I would have lovebirds to live in it... dream on...
Those are beautiful places. I love that movie so much. I know I could live in a smaller place but I would have to have one or two walls of shelving like you see in the little cottage house in The Holiday.
It was Miss White in the conservatory with a candle stick.. oh oh oh.. it was colonel mustard with a wrench. Some day, when I grow up, I too would love to have a conservatory where I could dolt on my violets and other special flowers that I adore.
with love,
Olivia
Those are gorgeous garden rooms!
OMG I can dig this! I was in one in a castle in Toronto once, didn't want to leave!! I really like the first, I' d be there 24/7! Lori
Amazing! I think I could live in one too...would just need a giant storage shed somewhere for all of my "stuff"...hehe! I have always wanted a conservatory and these images make me one even more...sigh...one day! ;)
When I was a girl we went to visit the family of man who worked with my dad. When we walked in the house there was a conservatory. I'd never seen anything like it and was amazed. It almost seemed like the house was built around it. It was wonderful. So are these photos :-)
Blessings,
Marcia
