Is Today Really Tough For You?

Merry Christmas to those fortunate enough to have cause to celebrate! However, I know that not everyone is celebrating.   Everyone doesn't have a house full of laughing, happy guests dressed in green and red gathered around a beautiful, food-laden table.    This may be a very difficult time of year for you.   You are who I want to speak to.  You may not have funds, friends or family.    You may have lost a companion, friend or family member and cannot say, "Merry Christmas," because your heart is raw.   This time of year may bring up horrible or painful memories.
Let me help gently remind you in just a few more hours, all the hoopla will be over.   Just hang on.   You're not alone in your suffering.   Not only do millions share your station in life right now, but there is One who completely understands and wishes to alleviate your pain.    If you want prayer, click here to submit a written need today or you can email me today and i promise i will pray.    If not, here's my ((hug)) to you.   To the rest, Merry Christmas!

What a beautiful thought on this crazy Christmas morning. You are so RIGHT. I have a dear friend who is celebrating her second Christmas without her only child- he passed away. My joy of the day is tempered by thoughts of her and her suffering, If you wish to pray for Cindy, as I am today, I'm sure she'd welcome all she can get.

What a lovely, thoughtful post today. In as much as Christmas brings such joy to many...there are those in need of love, prayer and encouragement. I am so very thankful to know the true meaning of Christmas and the love that our Savior has for each one of us. He knows our joys and our sorrows. His love conquer all.

Blessings,
Susie

On the day I and other Christians celebrate the Birth of Jesus, how fitting for you to reach out to others who are hurting today. I read your post and thought of HIM with his hands outstretched and eyes full of love. May HE Bless you abundantly today and in the New Year ahead. Such a beautiful post I have tears.

What a neat post. I had a wonderful Christmas with my family but when we said grace at our table, we thanked God for each other and asked him to be with those that don't have loved ones around on this special day. I think people forget the reason for the season when there is so much going on, it is nice to take a moment and realize why we are here!
Thank you, and Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Thank you for your kind words on my blog! I have a feeling I will be pouring over your blog over the next few days! Your words spoke to me! My heart was raw this Christmas, and I had to throw myself into decorating, baking, and looking for some joy & peace in every nook and cranny! It was my first Christmas without both of my grandparents that lived down the road from me! So, your words really hit home!
Thank you again!

Oh Janean what true words you have spoken. My mother was miserable on Christmas Eve. My father is very ill with dementia and her only two children (me and my brother) do not live close so she was alone, however we got there as soon as we could which was Saturday and it lifted her spirits. Thanks for posting this and thanks for stopping by.
