Woman of Mystery

February has me thinking of Love...and Mystery! Being *a woman of mystery* is not in my nature, but it sounds so romantic. This woman would be smart (I.Q. and emotionally), elegant and confident. She'd speak more than one language fluently and she'd be organized. Yes, organized. Imagine a sexy, mysterious woman frantically digging in her floppy, over-stuffed handbag trying to find her car keys or contact case?
She'd be cosmopolitan (not the magazine; the definition). Occasionally she'd wear a vintage hat that shows one smokey eye and a hint of her ruby lips as she descends a grand staircase. What kind of home would she live in? What's one word you'd use to describe the woman of mystery?

If I was a woman of mystery (and frankly Im the least mysterious person youre ever likely to meet )I'd be rather partial to living in a house that had a pool like that last picture...

Oh wow, what would it be like to have a grand staircase in your home like that one? I could be very mysterious climbing up and down the stairs. And I adore that hat, which I wish would come back into style. Hope your day is filled with "mystery"!

Garbo! of course!!! She even did a silent called "The Mysterious Lady." Of course, there is always, "Mata Hari" to watch, too starring the great Garbo.
I loved her in those cloche hats, dipping below one eye.
Have a great day, dear one...

I'm sort of a mysterious type woman, so I've been told, because I think on unusual things continually that many people do not. My word would be "intriguing" :)

When I think of a woman of mystery I think 'sophisticated.'

Loving that staircase!

I would love to be a woman of mystery but I am afraid I would be the one digging through the handbag and I would love to be sitting in that room in your first picture.
Does this mean you are all moved?
So glad, I was hoping that you were going to show us that you were the woman of mystery. :)

Hi Janean!

Oh, I love the first picture! I would love to be a woman of mystery - most of the time, I feel like it's just a mystery to me where I put things too! Can you imagine wearing a beautiful hat like that . . . Casablanca comes to mind!! Humphrey Bogart would appreciate a mysterious woman, don't you think!

Hugs,
Barb

Your blog is such a visual treat. It makes my day. Love the leopard throw on the first picture and that magnificent dividing staircase.
A word for a woman of mystery? Unsearchable.
