I discovered early in my plant-growing years that I had a *knack* with ferns. My very favorite is the Maiden Hair fern, then the Asparagus or Foxtail fern and then the common Boston fern. Here are some ideas of decorating with the ferns or fern patterns. Are you fond on ferns? Got a favorite? Photos top to bottom: Fern patterned silk pillow online; Fern Lamp online; Maidenhair Fern in urn; Framed fern fronds; Fern-inspired area rug; Fern Green cabinet in kitchen; Fern napkin ring....and does anyone remember a very short-lived TV program, "Fernwood Tonight?"

Marvelous pics! Hope everything is ok!!! Hugs and kisses!
Where have you been? Have I missed some of your posts? If so I apologize...
I love the old Boston ferns. I hang them outside on the porch and bring them in for the winter. They are messy but SO old fashioned!
Love the pictures and yes, I remember Fernwood Tonite!!
xoxo

I had a fabulous fern last year and it did so well out on my porch! I haven't purchased another one, but I need to! I want that lamp in the picture, gorgeous!
I am FOND of FERNS too! My favorite Maiden Hair fern. I love the napkin holder, it's beautiful!
Have a blessed day!
Janean,
Just want you to know I am praying for your family. Asking God just to let His presence be felt there in these moments you are experiencing....
And I DO love Ferns. I really like the Maiden Hair fern in the special urn. I have always wanted to do that with some ferns or succulents. Keep watching for a head at the thrifts...
And I love the fern cabinet in the kitchen. I like the free standing furniture placed in a kitchen. And the green cabinet/buffet is OH SO WONDERFUL!! WOOT. Hope you are well. Thanks for a beautiful and inspiring post. I do have ferns planted about the entire yard since it is so shady. I love the Japanese Painted Fern too. only have one, but it seems to be pretty hardy. hugs...
I love that fern-green cabinet!
We are surrounded by ferns here between the ponds. They spring up overnight and I am constantly pulling them up as they (and the moss!) will take over if left undisturbed.
Janean,
What a yummy kitchen! I was thinking about you this morning. Send me an email when you have time and let me know how things are going.

I love ferns! They are little works of art...matter of fact Michael's has these see through frames (just glass)in black wood that could hold a fern leaf or two....pretty! I am taking off for a few days with my daughter, must look for some! Thanks for the idea and I will have a momento.
Good morning Janean...so good to 'see' you again. I LOVE ferns. When I lived in British Columbia I grew some beautiful ones inside and out but I'm not doing so well here in Kansas. The air is a lot drier and hotter here although you wouldn't think that this week! I'm still plugging away though and maybe one day I'll have have another that touches the floor. Love the napkin rings! I hope all is well for you and your family. Maura XX
I love ferns too. I have some that come back every year in my garden and then I always have the asparagus ferns, boston ferns and kimberly queen ferns. I have tried saving them, but oh the mess.
Great post.

We had ferns where I grew up by the beach, but I've never seen them around here. I don't think they do well in the desert. As a child, I was always intrigued by the back side of ferns.
Nice photos.
Blessings,
Marcia

Love the fern pictures...lamp is gorgeous! I hope and pray your dad is doing better! ((Hugs))
Good to see you back. My backyard is full of wild ferns, which my dog loves to tear and rip apart. Luckily they grow back quickly. :P
Lovely photos! I don't remember Fernwood Tonight, but that surely does look like Fred Willard in that photo.
Thinking of you! -Tammy
Love the fern patterns! I keep telling myself that I would like to have one in the kitchen. A few weeks back we made room for a palm tree ~ I really like "living" plants in the kitchen and bathrooms :) My favorite picture is the LAMP! Love you honey :)
Boston Ferns are my favorite, while visiting my sister in Scotland I saw they grew there out of the ground all around...I loved it as I have no luck here in Alberta, I have tried several times......much to dry on the Praire.
Hope you father is doing better, keeping you all in my heart and prayers.......:-) Hugs
I love ferns...they are so graceful and lovely! We have many here in the pacific Northwest!
I do love that fern napkin ring, and I have a vague recollection of Fernwood Tonight. Now I'll have to Google it!
How is your dear Dad? Praying...
Blessings!

Hi Janean..... thinking of you and your family.
I love ferns! I have 5 on my patio that are recovering from the kittens playing in them.
