Old World Charm
I adore *Old World Charm* in architecture and design. Everyone probably has their own personal idea of what old world charm looks like. Below are some images of what it looks like to me. Do you lean toward Old World Charm, Mid-Century or Modern?

I am a sucker for a window box. Love this one and the library. Couldn't you just snuggle up in there with a good book. Oh, I forgot and some coffee and chocolate, too!

This is post should be relabled.. "All about Olivia"! heehee.. That's what I adore.. yet the old world charm bits and pieces are found here and there only in our new home.. because it's new and hubs likes it that way.. so I sneek in bits and pieces to please me!

Well, call me crazy, but while I love 'old world charm', in my home I like a good old combination of it all! Here and there are things that honor the long past, but more likely the 'recent' past - reminders of my childhood, with a good solid dose of today's decor. I call it country cottage kitsch, but most would probably call it a mess! But it's my mess, and it works for us!

I love the old world charm. If I could do my house any way I wanted, it would be this style. I love the look and the feel of it.

I love the old world winding streets and stone cobbles. It is full of character :)

I like the colours of the houses in the street scene. I think that colour was more a part of the old world than popular design would have us believe.....and I lean towards that look.

Good Morning Janean! I LOVE old world charm....I love old homes and towns with old buildings. I guess that's why I love England and Europe so much..they have such character that modern cities and homes don't have. They don't have to be fancy buildings at all...just well aged. I'm not too Old World. I like color and just about anything with good craftsmanship or artistic flair. But I can always go for the jewelry. :)
