Few things are more soothing than a garden. I'm also a fan of interiors having a garden feel. A garden interior isn't fussy or stiff. It's organic. It begs you to take your garden hat off and drink some tea in the shade of an enormous oak tree. Let's see how *garden* translates indoors. Does anyone have a utility sink? Do you use it often? I really loved this pics!!! So beautiful! XX
I love "garden rooms" too. In our previous yard we had space to make a small garden room but we scaled down a few years ago so we don't have as much space on our lot. My porch helps feel the gap but I still miss having that secret garden room.
Janean,
Yes, we have one in our laundry room at the Inn. It was required to wash out mops, etc. We use it alot when we are outside to wash dirty hands from gardening, etc.
Hope you have a great day!
Hi Janean,
Ah, garden envy. I'm in love with that old cabinet that holds all the potting stuff and the table setting with the burlap cloth....swoon!
Each one of these photos could be my dream garden, that's for sure.
Thanks for such a lovely, inspirational post.
hugs
Sissie
Oh wow! I want to jump into these pictures. Especially the one with the little "garden room"... with the draped curtains. I've seen this in outdoor restaurants in Mexico. Beautiful!
Have a great Thursday.

I love the idea and look of gardens but I'm just not a gardener. More of a cut flowers in a vase kind of person! lol
Janean!
Loved the photos..woot!! all of them. My pics in my head of a beautiful garden that flows right up to the house...overlapping living...LOVE that grapevine wrapping around with the twinkle lights and the chicken with the last photo...hah priceless...
FUN here today! Hugs to you. these are pics to come back to and view when doing an "outdoor room"!
It's all about nuturing
and getting our noses
in the day
even if it's inside
My husband really would like to have a utility sink in the garage. He does work on bicycles and a sink such as that would be so handy.
Love gardens, espeially an English
I've always loved having the outdoors indoors. It's comfortable.
Nice pictures displaying this idea.
I would just love to dine under that little canopy. So romantic!
Janean,
I could look at these photos every day and find new inspiration each time. I have an old potting cabinet on my patio that looks exactly like the one pictured. I love it. So do the critters in the winter!
Your Friend,
Deborah
Oh what beautiful images! Gardens, inside and out, make me smile! Thanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comment:) Have a blessed day where you bloom! HUGS!
Janean, these scenes are so tranquil :)
My husband is working on finishing our porch in out back of the house. It’s a big job~ It’s starts at one end of the house and wrap around the opposite end. Once it’s finished, we will work on putting a few small gardens together. I’m storing pictures for ideas. ~ I really like this page! Thank you, Kimmie
Janean, these images are beautiful. I would love to have a "dreamy" backyard, but the heat around here (already beyond 100 degrees) precludes any enjoyment outdoors for me. Now, if I had a utility sink, or better yet a pool, perhaps I could be coaxed to spend a few minutes outside. Stay cool! ~ Angela
I hope you had a very nice anniversary! I love my utility sink and use it as much as I use the one in my kitchen. It is so nice and deep. When I was a kid we had a outdoor kitchen in a old pump house,It had the neatest summer kitchen. Your pictures remind me of it.
Hi Janean
I don't have a utility sink but wouldn't that be helfpul...
The pictures are fabulous and make me want to go out and garden and enjoy. Love the romantic chandalier and tent...so pretty.
It was so nice to have you visit and I hope you'll be back again.
Judi

Ahhhhh, I love all the pictures. I wish I had a garden utility sink.... mine is a concrete bench with a water hose next to it.... oh well, at least I can look at your lovely pictures.
Wow! love them all but that second one - wow wow wow!
Oh what wonderful photographs! They are all awesome! Yes, I have a sink in our utility room, love it!

Such sweet pics! The one with the candlelight is so pretty and romantic. :)
Love garden things. I actually have a nice decorated clay pot in my bathroom to hold brushes and stuff. :P
Wow! I want a garden room! I do have a utility sink, it does not look like the one on your post . . . it usually has dirty shoes and scrub brushes in it . . . maybe I'll fill it with flowers . . . ahhhh.
Hugs,
Barb
So, are the spiders also invited to dinner? *tee hee*
Such beautiful images Janean. I love tending my little garden, and this year my oldest daughter is helping and developing a love for it too. It's so fun to bring some of it inside too.
Blessings,
Marcia
Janean, you are not showing up on my reader until at least 20 hours after you have posted.....have no idea why.
I love gardens and I love these photos.......:-) Hugs
Our porch is my favorite place to be. I absolutely love being outside surrounded by nature. Thanks for sharing the pics... I now have a few ideas for this porch! : ) Melissa
I can't wait for summer to really arrive so that we can eat all our meals, drink all our tea and read all our books on the veranda - as soon as the rain stops!
Hi Janean, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a lovely comment. Wow, 40 years - congratulations. Doesn't time just fly by. I have been married for 13 years (but was married before that for 12) and yet I only feel 30 myself ;-)
Love the pics you shared, they always inspire me to get creative in my own home.
Have a great weekend and drop by again soon.
Hugs Denise
Lovely pictures, a porch, garden planting shed all of them make me think summer, when I think summer I am all so happy. Thanks for sharing...
