You Like Tomato....
There was an old song Fred Astaire made popular, "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off." We have tomato plants with lots of green tomatoes, but we look forward to the red, juicy, ripe tomatoes. Whether you say tomato or tomahto and whether you buy or grow yellow, orange or red, I imagine most everyone enjoys a garden-fresh tomato. Here's decor ideas, based on the tomato-tomahto. Ok...I totally adore red. I used to have a red, pink and gold bedroom (sounds gross now but this was the swingin' 70's)
Red is such a vibrant and seductive colour.
Woo HOO look at those RED cabinets..wowzers! I am really lovin that red chandy. I almost went with red in my kitchen but did black instead...
The little pear shaped yellow tomatoes are the kind I could just stand at the plant and keep popping into my mouth (like grapes) til I just about pop!!!
And I think the little tomato house is SOO cute. Reminds me of an old Disney animated cartoon I saw when I was a little girl...for some reason... :-) Thanks for the fun Janean. Have a great day.

I love little splashes of red in my kitchen mostly. Great photos today and the deer are eating my tomatoes this year. I have two green ones out in the garden now but I am sure they will be eaten before they turn red. Thanks goodness for the Farmer's Market. :)
Oh .....I love the color red! The red cabinets are such a pretty shade of red.
I have a lot of 'touches' of red around our house.

Love the red, I use it as accents in my kitchen. Cute pincushions, I may need to make those.
Every room needs a bit of red, and I'm still reveling in the novelty of my yellow kitchen with red accents.
Tomatoes will be ready to harvest soon - then we'll be loving red even more!

I love my fresh Jersey tuhmaytoes! Unfortunately, mine too are still the shade of yours -- green. I am craving a tomato sandwich.
We are in the process of renovating my kitchen and it will be red and white when we are completed.

Love, love red! It's always been one of my favorite colors - I remember when I was in highschool, (many, many years ago), when we had to wear dresses to school, no pants allowed! I wore so many red dresses, my fellow students started calling me the "lady in red"! How's that for sassy!

I LOVE red....Hello Janean! I really love those kitchen cupboards but I don't think I'm brave enough to paint mine red. I've had walls that were red but not here at the farm. I like my little bright and cheery cottage so I think I'll pass on the red walls or cupboards. Splashes of 'tomahto' red would work though! Do you have red in your home? I hope you have a wonderful day..stay cool if it's hot over there in the south. It's certainly hot here in Kansas. :)
I have lots of tomatoes turning red now, and several of those little yellow pear shaped ones that are absolutely delicious. I enjoyed all of your summer reds :-)

I love tomatoes of any color. My mouth waters, thinking about home grown tomatoes. I did a tomatoe post last year. I love the color too. Great pictures. Would love that chandelier for my Red (tomatoe) and Yellow guest bath.

Love it!!! Love the colors and the fruit!!! That red chandelier is gorgeous! My breakfast room table and chairs is an old dining set painted antiqued red and I love it!
I had a red old style cabinet built in my kitchen -- with glass knobs -- the red is like a barn red -- wink -- I'll have to send you a photo of it from my iPhone sometime -- I even have red on the exterior of my home too -- see I like red!
Tomato red is a great color but so are all the other shades they come in. A red kitchen appeals to me.
