All I Have To Do Is Dream....

The Everly Brothers came out with a song years ago, *All I Have to do is Dream.*  We have a farm not too far from our lake home that we enjoy driving by in the autumn. The road curves so drivers get several beautiful views from many angles. It gives us plenty of time to dream what it must be like to live on this *piece of heaven* (especially when we drive less than 10 miles per hour)! LOL. Do you have a favorite spot to dream about? Here are some fall leaf decor ideas and the farm. Pottery Barn Leaf decor; DIY Wedding; Leaf-Orange Inspired Walls; Upcycle - Make your own newspaper leaf and the farm!  pssss. coming soon: new photos of our all-white bedroom which is nearly finished. yay!

Beautiful Farm!! God bless!

I love fall, it is my favorite season. I really miss it though, because over here there is no such change in the leaves. I have enjoyed the pictures, my favorite is the autumn leaves wreath.

Have a wonderful day :D

My dream is to one day have a farmhouse, barn, and plenty of land to surround them. Our favorite area is up in the Batesville, Georgia area, which is north of Clarkesville, ne of Cleveland, and sw of Clayton. It is a beautiful area, and we love taking slow rides through the area and dream. And dreaming is good for the soul, don't you know!

I enjoyed these fall photos.

I don't really have one place I dream about but I'm always looking for beauty in even little things. I don't live in an area that is known for beautiful landscapes or venues (flat farm country here) so I often have to go searching for inspiration in the details of the bigger picture.

Oh what a feast for the eyes Janean!!!
So pretty..I love Pottery Barns treasures.
I got to finally go to an actual store in Toronto a few years ago with my brother in Toronto, Ontario.
I could have settled down for the night in there.. it was a like a dream come true.
This summer my sweet brother biked there because of something that was going on that blocked alot of the downtown street areas, and purchased 2 bowls for me that I had fallen in love with!! And on the next trip to the cottage I held them close. What a darling he was..and such sacrifice he made for me.. lol.
He's actually very in shape so Im sure that part was fine. :)
Great post..as always!
Love the pumpkin stuffed with leaves..how unique!
Have a great day friend..

Deborah xoxo

The last time I had a song get stuck it was from Disney's Small, Small World and I would find myself bumbling along humming it! Remind me to come back and leave you a mean comment if this song replays longer than today!>) Thank You Very Much!!! xxooDiana

Good Morning Janean! Love that first photo but most especially the pictures of your 'dream' farm. OH my what a beautiful setting and I LOVE that barn. We just have to plant an Autumn Blaze Maple right out where we can see it...that blast of red and yellow is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your 'dream farm' with us and I'm looking forward to seeing your all white bedroom...I know it will be beautiful! OH by the way...the pumpkin pie is all yours ;) Enjoy your day Maura :)

Janean,
I love the farm pictures. I loved growing up, at least on many weekends, at my Granny and Grandpa's farm. What great memories I have :)

That first picture looks so inviting. I can see myself sipping coffee while sitting on that bench. And that area needs a quilt to snuggle under !

I love that orange wall with the white wainscoting. with the white chairs, I would never be so bold though. I love the porch.

How nice you have a farm to go to, when we lived in town we always had here to go too and I could escape. It is nice to be able to do that. But now that I live here, I never go anywhere. :)

That was beautiful. No wonder fall is a favorite with so many. We don't get the extreme change in colour up here, as everything pretty much stays green all year, but now and then I catch a glimpse of a deciduous tree on a hill, blazing in solitary glory.

The farm is beautiful :D Wow! Dare I say...that knowing how you decorated your place here in Atlanta (short distance from the big city) ~ I can see where the farm-house is a dream come true(?) :D Question: Have you ever watched Sara's House? Nothing about her reminds me of you...but her sense of style is simular to yours ~ maybe she knows you :D
Much love to you my friend, Kimmie

Oh how I love the colors of fall.
I dream of living in Kentucky, but hubby's artritis couldn't take the winters, I'm afraid.
Can't wait for the unveiling of your white bedroom.
