*Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens. Brown paper packages tied up with strings...these are a few of my favorite things!* Based on that song, these are a few of my favorite things. Anyone have a rain shower head? The copper necklace is available online. Also let truly apologize for not visiting all my fellow-bloggettes lately, but our lake-community home is still on the market (which is picking up) and keeping a spotless home for open house is well...NOT one of my favorite things! Ha!

Good luck with the lakehouse! It is tiring and tedious to keep a house on the market! May it find a new owner soon! Love that kitchen island.
ReplyDeleteLoved this post, Janean! Song and movie among my favorite things.
ReplyDeleteSorry you are having to stay there to keep your home spotless for open house. I was just going to ask you if you wanted to come clean mine! ~wink~
Isn't it amazing how, after all these years, you read those words and the melody begins to immediately run through one's head? Loved this post..and those kittens? I want them both! Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteBeen there and done that! It isn't fun, is it? But it will be worth the time and effort to get it sold. It wasn't one of my favorite things either! The rose picture and the kittens are absolutely wonderful, as are all the others. Hope it sells real soon and you have a wonderful new year.

ReplyDeleteLove the song...Love the movie...Love Julie Andrews in THAT one and Mary Poppins and so many others. I sing that song and it cheers me up! Your photos are always PERFECT for your blogs. Thanks for the whimsy and smiles. AND I think that shower head would feel wonderful. Standing under it and singing this song...what a happy moment! :-) Best wishes, Janean, on the house sale. I am looking at the possibility of that same scenario in the near future as Kurt is living in Iowa working and we are trailing here in NC. oh my. Hang in there..... HUGS!
