A while back I did a post on ruffles. Ruffles can be understated, but *frilly* to me is all-out! Here are some examples of *FRILLY* things.... Are you a *frilly girl* or would you be willing to try it in your home? Frilly pillows; Frilly White Chocolate Cake; Frilly topiary made from coffee filters - Click here to purchase; Frilly shoes - Louboutin; Frilly Lampshade is actually a scrubby - click here for instructions; Frilly chicken - White Frizzle polish hen!
Oh I'm a frilly kinda girl too, but I don't really like frilly clothes, I adore those frilly cushions though and that frilly hen is amazing, never saw one of them before. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAll things nice...

ReplyDeleteOh, and that coffee filter topiary is to die for! Ruffles are frilly and yet very classic. I use them all the time.

Hi Janean,
ReplyDeleteYou know that I love ruffles and girlie, girlie.
I am in love with those round pillows and I might try making one.
The more ruffles the better!
Lovely post.
hugs
Sissie
Janean,
ReplyDeleteNot too frilly, I like more of a classic look, but how about that cake. That is MY kind of cake. All icing and little cake :)
xo
Robin
I think I would pass on all of them! Though the frizzly little fowl is cute!
ReplyDeleteI love frillies...love the bird..those shoes are what i call sitting shoes...you wear them somewhere where you just sit and look cute....LOL
ReplyDeleteIm a frilly girl within reason.Im not liking those shoes, lol. But i like all the rest.I wouldnt be able to make that cake of course, lol maybe order one that looked like it,ha.But Im so pleased this summer there are so many adorable tops with frills I have 2 now.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
I like a ruffle here and there, but am not at all frilly. I have had frilly hens, though, and they are cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of a frilly person to a point. I do love those pillows but I wouldn't have a place for them. Those colors are gorgeous. The chocolate cake would go well in my tummy. That coffee filter topiary is charming. Those shoes are fabulous but not on me, but my sister would wear them beautifully, she only wears heels! I can't say I like that lamp at all but the little guy at the bottom is adorable. Where are his eyes, poor thing can't see!
ReplyDeleteJanean -
ReplyDeleteI prefer thrills over frills, but I do like that bedding. The chicken looks like he washed too soon after a bad perm!
Have a great day.

Not very frilly, but I do like those pillows!
ReplyDeleteI have never been a frilly person but I loved everyone! Those pillows are to die for....and that chicken...so cute, but how do you keep him clean? lol
ReplyDeleteI have always liked them...they are back in a big way aren't they?! LOL to the chicken....come say hi stranger! :D
ReplyDeleteoh, how i love those pillows....and the shoes are fabulous. i want those pillows!!! i'm off to find a tutorial. if i can't find them, i'll make them!!!

Lovely frilly things! I love wearing frilly shirts distracts from my muffin top! Have a wonderful Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI love a few ruffles but no not really into frilly in fact I look like I should be visiting the Pig and Whistle in anything too frilly.
ReplyDelete......LOL...........:-) Hugs
I like frilly to an extent. :-) well, like the shoe......uh....that's a little bit over the top for me! heh heh...
ReplyDeleteBut frills and ruffles and (flounces)?? are quite feminine to me...so I like them for that reason. And I have seen a Polish Frizzle chicken.. so unusual looking. wow...
I've seen a tutorial on how to make a coffee filter wreath... very easy! Looks very pretty.
I love ruffley flowers too (the real kind!)
Thanks for a post today! loved it! Hugs
I'm not a frilly person but your examples are very pretty. I love the chicken. I follow a blog that has chickens like that and others that are so pretty. Have a nice Sunday.
ReplyDeleteUmmm, no, not so frilly here. But I will put and give them to baby girls anytime. :)
ReplyDeleteI am not a frilly girl, my style is blue jeans and t-shirts but I love your pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all of your glorious pictures.
That cake looks too pretty to cut...almost! Love the frills!
ReplyDeleteI'm a "no frills" kinda girl in all senses of the word... and that chicken? is scary. people should leave that sculpting to poodles! :-o
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I liked ruffles until I got a gorgeous orange ruffled sleeveless blouse..
ReplyDeleteI call it my cha cha blouse....
too bad this year I can't button it!!!!!!!!!!!
Frilly pillows are just divine! ~ Angela
ReplyDeleteHello Janean! I'm not a frilly girl but I do like ruffles. I would try some of these things in my guest room but I think my DH (who goes along with about everything I try!) would NOT be thrilled about living with these in our master bedroom. Love that pillow! Have a wonderful Monday...hopefully with sunshine! Take care. Maura
ReplyDeleteI love the topiary! I made a wreath with old pages from a book that looks very similar . . . I'm wondering if I could do the same thing, and make a topiary? Something to think about. Yummy post!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Barb
Loving the ruffled chicken the very best! I love to see ruffles and like to wear them some, would really rather wear something with bows on it. As far as decorating, although I think they would be beautiful in some rooms or certain settings, they just wouldn't work in my home. I do like those pillows! And is that one picture a real cake? wow..... have that for your birthday! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!:-)
ReplyDeleteFrilly love
xx
Ruffles, delish, devine, delightful - what a perfect post! Jennifer jennsthreegraces
ReplyDeleteI actually tried to do a ruffle on a pillow but the fabric was too heavy. I'm still working on a design...with a ruffle! ♥
ReplyDeleteI am a reserved frilly. I find the older I get, the frillier I get! I absolutely must finish my master bath and show you! You will love it. It is definitely NOT masculine!
ReplyDeleteWow! My ruffled lampshade is in such good 'ruffle' company. It was a fun surprise seeing my photo this morning!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
Rhonda
I'm not too frilly BUT I want that chicken!
ReplyDeleteLove to see all these frills, but I'm not a frilly girl. My wardrobe is pretty tailored and our home is definitely not frilly or girly. I have a friend who is single, and her home decor makes her the queen of frilly.
