Aye, St Patrick's Day

We traced our roots way back, and my side of the family is a braid of English-Irish-Welsh. Today I've chosen images that focus on a few things that speak "Irish" to me. What reminds you of Irish or St. Patrick's Day? Any other Irish sisters? Photos: Old Irish Stone Cottage; Antique Celtic Oak Chair; The Irish Tenors; Grand Irish Gathering Room; Irish Cable Knit; Irish Soda Bread; Irish Redhead; Lucky Charm Marshmallows; Irish Setter celebrating the day!

I think my favorite is the cottage. But, the child, dog and sweater speak to me also.
Yes I am Irish. My fathers great grandmothers name was Maggie Malloney. Don't know for sure what area she was from. But red hair runs through the family.

  4. The weather hear today is very Irish!
My family background is Irish-Indian. I understand my great grand mother had beautiful long red hair. There's an Irish Pub here in the outskirts of Atlanta that my husband and I love to eat at, quite authentic.

The chair in the second picture is so cool, needs to be in my home!

  26. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Great photos! When I was a kid we wore green 4 leaf clovers and green clothes to school. When I was working today was a holiday we celebrated by eating something green. Green cake! Today I planted some cuttings. That's as close as I got to wearing green today. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
