Crystals....

I have *a thing* for crystals. Give a crystal the tiniest amount of light and it'll sparkle its heart out. Old Sweetwater has crystal chandeliers...one for every room though they're not all up yet. This chandelier was an ugly brown kitchen light fixture at our lake community home. I panted it black, then dry-brushed it white to let the details show through. The 70's glass globes were removed and real crystals were draped everywhere! Who has any crystal? Our chandelier; Waterford Pitcher; crystal bracelet online; Silver and crystal chandelier; Winter snow crystals; Vera Wang winter crystal and tulle necklace; Fruit Compote and Crystal Lamp.

    Im very partial to crystals myself. I wish it was permissable to wear a tiara every day !

    Hi stranger! It is shamefull that I haven't visited your wonderful blog in so long... In my opinion there aren't many things prettier than a crystal chandelier. My count is at 4...not nearly enough. Your re-do is gorgeous!

    A crystal lamp - now that would be lovely.
    I have crystal for the table, but otherwise no chandeliers or other ornaments. The piece of Swarowski for the Christmas tree. It sparkles so beautifully.

    Janean....I (heart) sparkleys...anything that sparkles...It makes me smile ...and sometimes the prisms put rainbows across the floors and walls....JOY! love it... I loved the part in Disney's POLLYANNA where they discovered the beauty of the light hitting the crystals and hung them all over the entire room!!! :-)

    Oh I LOVE yur chandelier and what you did to it! I'm going to have to go out today to the local thrift store and get me an old one try it!

    I do love crystal. I only have a bit of it but what I do have I really enjoy. I do love seeing the light shine through it. Are you getting settled now? Pictures?
