Update

Blogging friends, my father passed away Monday morning. I was blessed to be at his side when he took his last breath.

Thank you for all your emails, comments, prayers and words of encouragement.

    Janean, he is at rest now, and soon it will be your chance to rest, restore and heal a bit. You have been in my thoughts a lot, maybe because I've so recently been where you are now, or maybe just because. Take care of yourself. Rest when you can, eat for strength, and remember to remember - the good times and bad, the funny times and the sad, as that is part of healing, too. Blessings, Becky G.

    I was SOO thinking of you Monday as I knew what you had said would be going on... You, my sweet far away blog sister, are in my prayers, and I shed tears of sorrow for you and the rest of your family as you hold tight together through this...another moment in life that we all have to go through as family begins to
    pass on from here. I know that I will have to face this probably this year with my mama, and I am just feeling for you. Please know you are in my conversations with our Father...     My heart is heavy with shared grief. I lost my Dad last October and I continue to miss him every day. It was a blessing though, that you could be with him at the end. May time heal your broken heart and may the precious memories you shared replace the emptiness you are feeling now.

    So sorry to hear about your father. We lost ours last October and it still doesn't seem real. We are comforted with the knowledge of where he is and of being united again in heaven. Going to visit the grandmas this week-end since it will be the first Father's day without our special Dad.

    O my.......what a terrible news!.........I wish you lots of power, strength and love for the next few days ...What will you have a grief ............ thinking of you sweetheart ...it is so sad loosing your father !!! it's terrible !! it's now 17 years but a miss him everey day.........!!

    We have also a funeral tomorrow..the father of our now only 10 weeks of deceased friend........live is hard some times.............darling i will give you the huge hug ever.............you are in my thoughts and prayers...............Ria

    My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You are fortunate that you were with your dad. I wished that my father lived closer. I am in California and he lives in Washington state. Before my mil passed away, she was in a lot of pain, but just before she passed away, she had a huge smile on her face. It makes me wonder who she saw.
