"Peachy Keen" is a saying that means excellent or fine. Though peach fell out of vogue after the 1980's, it's deeper version is just beginning to make a comeback. Now it's paired with other clear colors such as aqua blue, spring green or rich purple. Here are few peachy keen items. Any peach people out there? Peach and raspberry dessert; Peach umbrellas; Peach divine heels; Peach Vintage Dresser; Peach Adirondack chair; Peach mum centerpiece; Peach Preserves; Peach and Purple tulips.
another wonderful palette
ReplyDeleteWow - I love the peach high heeled shoe!
ReplyDeleteLove to eat peaches. Don't dislike the color peach, but I am fair and blue eyed and peach is not my color. However, the dresser is awesome and the tulips! I am "Dutch" and that must be why I adore tulips. I would think those peach unbrellas would bring a smile on a rainy day. Such a pretty umbrella. Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteI just want to reach in and grab that adirondack chair. It would look fabulous on my beach! :-)

ReplyDeleteMay daughter's grad gown was peach, and she glowed. The peach jam made me long for a taste of summer in a jar.

I love the fruit and anything made of peaches, but NOT the color - yeccchhh. If you saw our bedroom walls you'd understand!! (we're moving so not repainting, but oh it's such a horrid, gramma color)

ReplyDeleteNice post, Janean...and glad you are home!
ReplyDeleteA friend of ours gave us a big tub of peaches this year. I put up peaches till I thought that I would turn into a peach. They sure have made some good peach pies though! That dresser is absolutely beautiful! Peach was my mother's favorite color. When I see that color, I always think of her.
