Dancing Shoes!

"Our sweethearts come in all shapes and sizes. Some of them are even furry or feathered! It doesn't matter if your sweetheart is your spouse, child, grandchild, friend, furry-feathered baby, living, departed or even yourself!  Yes, I think some of us need to love ourselves just a bit more.  Valentine's is a time to focus on LOVE!  My honey and I dance almost every single day.  We're not good and most of the time it's silly, but we snuggle and dance!  I danced with my son when he was little and with my grandbabies until they couldn't be twirled around like a dishrag (which made them squeal with delight)!  So grab your sweetie...furry or otherwise and "cut a rug."
Don't have any other breathing thing to dance with?  Grab a sweater or coat as your partner!  Whether you act silly in front of the mirror or slow dance romantically...just put on your dancing shoes....and DANCE.  Does anyone else like to dance? Photos from top: lipstick red leather chair; red lipstick from drugstore; red silk scarf; self-explanatory :)

  2. What a great post to start Febuary with. Red, my favorite color. It is so sweet that you and hubby dance everyday. I love to dance, but sweet hubby doesn't, but I turn my oldies on and dance around cleaning house...does that count?
Happy post. Thanks for a good start to my morning too.

  5. I love to dance (I didn't say I was good at it!) but hubby will have no part of it! Back in the early to mid-80's, before I was married, I loved going to the discos with my friends and just dancing all night!!! I know you have lived in Atlanta, well, have you ever heard of the now gone "Limelight"??? Oh, what fun!!! B.

  6. If I had those red shoes I would dance!! And they would be soooo comfy too, I'm sure! I would wear them to Aldi's and WalMart every week! Hubby and I dance alot. Daughterunit has many memories of such. When a old song comes on she will comment, "This was a kitchen-dance song." :)

  11. I loved your blog today, oh and thanks for visiting. I wanted to say, don't be afraid of bees. They get used to you and they won't sting. I have been stung once in a year and it was my own fault. I also wasn't wearing gear. You will have fun and they are worth watching. I can just stand for hours and watch them, only I don't have hours so I can't watch them that much. Your trees will thank you. :)
